Job Description

We are currently seeking a Strategic Account Manager who fully understands solution sales to Civilian Federal Government.  We need someone who is creative in their approach, and who isn’t afraid to do bring new ideas to the table. 


The Strategic Account Manager will work with our largest accounts DHS, State and Interior.  You will be responsible for generating sales growth through existing and new account development with a named Federal Civilian Agencies.   You will consult with Federal Government C-level executives, hiring managers, program managers and partnership organizations to develop and implement an effective enterprise wide strategy to maximize Monster Government Solution’s services and product offerings.  You will work with other sales resources within Monster to provide a full solution to agencies that not only need our product, but more importantly our expertise and guidance on the best solution for their recruitment function.


This isn’t your typical Sales Executive job.  The Monster brand is known worldwide, and we offer endless opportunities to achieve success by cultivating strong relationships with our impressive list of clients and introducing innovative products that ensure their success with talent acquisition.  Here is what we are looking for:



  • 7+ years of business to business Federal sales experience
  • Experience selling services into large agencies
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university



  • Experience with software, online recruiting, outsourcing, human resources products/services or automated tracking systems
  • Business to Government sales
  • Solution-based/consultative selling
  • Federal Civilian sales experience
  • Prior experience with delivering Quota assignment of $2-5M plus
  • Formal training in the sales discipline
  • Sales experience in the human resources (HR) space
  • Building long-term customer relationships
